100 words google digitalize
My opinion is Google’s goal tried to digitalize every book in the world just to help the students have more opportunity to read book. Which I thing is the good thing because if a student lived too far from the library, they’d just go online and pick the book that they want to read. The big problem about this is Copyright; I think Google should talk it out with these authors somehow and try to make an online library so that people could just borrow the book that they wanted from the online library. For example, they should add a code to every person’s computer to keep track if they own any books or not.

I agree with you that Google try to help the student out and they need to ask permission to post up the book that they wanted from the author.
ReplyDeleteI agree with what you said, but I also believe Google isn't as innocent as they try to perceive themselves. I honestly think money is another incentive to digitize every book, yes it may help other, but yes it will also make them money. It’s crazy how the “want of money” can make visionaries minds so powerful. We have lost as the human race the ability to push ourselves for our own moral and ethical reasons….
ReplyDeleteYes I agree that it is good for them to digitize books but at the same time I think that they should make their "digital" library should be free if it's from just a regular library where as if it comes from one that you have to pay for then they should charge for ONLY those books.
